Jenna and her mom's different point of views
I thought that it was really neat to be able to hear Jenna's story about growing up with her hearing disability and then being able to hear her mom's side about raising Jenna. It was funny to see how they would argue about events that happened such as when Jenna did not comprehend the joking conversation with the teacher about having to take a class again. They argued that it was a different teacher and a different grade. This reminded me very much of my mom's and mine relationship because we never agree about events that happened in my life. It was also funny to hear the embarrassing stories about Jenna that Jenna would not have told the class herself. I liked how confident Jenna's mother was about her, she kept talking about how smart her daughter was and how she pushed to teachers to make sure that she succeeded to the best of her abilities.

I really enjoyed having both of them speak in class. It was funny to see how embarrassed Jenna got when her mom was telling stories about her. I feel like I learned more about the deaf culture by listening to what they said.
It was interesting to hear both of them. I liked it when they interacted with one another. It was interesting to read their chemistry together. Also, I thought it was worth while to be there....PLUS we got bonus points, which is always a major plus!
