"OH, NO!! What have we gotten ourselves into?"
My name is Lisa and I am a senior Elementary Education Major with a Kindergarten emphasis. I am originally from Elkhorn City, a tiny town in Eastern Kentucky. In June, I married my high school sweetheart, Cameron. We live in Lexington. I currently work at Neurosurgical Associates. I know it is totally different than the education field I am in but I love the job and the staff. Plus, the patients I work with make my job rewarding. Cam and I currently do not have any pets but we are looking to change that. We are in the hunt for a dog that is the correct fit for our family. I am in my last semester of actual class. I am taking my methods block and will do my student teaching in the Spring Semester. YAY!!

I also want to teach Kindergarten. I got the chance to work with a class in high school and absolutely loved it. Maybe we will have some classes in the future.
In response to your dog hunt, you should look at the Animal House in Richmond. My boyfriend and I just got our second dog and we got him there. He's a mini schnauzer but they often have several different kinds!
