Observation
I did my observation the other day and it was wonderful! This was my first technical observation in a 'real classroom'. I really loved it and ended up staying longer than I really needed to. I this experience reaffirmed my desire to become a teacher!!!! I hope all of you guys have the same great experience that I did!!!!

You just made my heart skip a beat! I am so excited for YOU and for the children who will have you in the future. Keep this enthusiasm. It will propel you through the tough days to the JOYOUS days. There will be tons of joys and rewards.
I have had the opportunity to visit many classrooms with different teaching styles and never get tired of it. I am happy for you that you have the same feeling of excitement when observing. You'll do very well with tat love of the classroom!
I also loved my observations. I always find myself staying longer because its just so fun and I can't wait until I become a teacher!
I went last week to do my observation. I have several observation hours from my previous education classes. However, this is the first time that I have actually observed in the type of class that I plan to teach in. I observed in an elementary school special education classroom. I feel that my one observation specific to the type of classroom that I will one day teach in was more eye opening and helpful than my 20 something hours in general classrooms put together. I loved it. I walked away from my experience so excited and motivated for my future career.
I spent two hours each in two classrooms the other day and just loved it. The first observation was with a teacher that loves to teach and she is soooooo organized. I just love observing her and I get such wonderful little idea's about how to keep children interested. When she ask questions almost all her student's are begging to answer. The next classroom was with a first year teacher and she hates it. I could tell that she was trying to get through and it did not really matter if the students understand what she was teaching. I hope I become like the first one!
I have also completed my observation for this class. I found it very benificial. I enjoyed meeting the children and getting to work with them. The teacher let me work with the kids and I stayed the whole day just to get to met all of her different students because she gets different groups throughout the day.
You will have the opprtunity to observe many, many different kinds of classrooms as you continue on in education. It is exciting. Keep in mind that YOU are excited about it, even if some of the teachers you observe seem to not be. This has helped me in the past to realize there are more than one type of teachers and not everyone is going to be like me.
