Stages Of Language
I was wondering could the stages of language be used as a tool to evaluate special education children? Parents usually want to know how much their child has progressed.....so do you guys think it would help to show the parents. To say, 'Look how far they have come, the child was here but now he/she is here."

It depends on what you mean by "evaluate." If you are simply talking about an evaluation of their language, then certainly you can use this as ONE form of evaluation. Taking several language samples over time - monitoring their langauge - is an excellent way to demonstrate growth.
