I also attended the EKU/UK game and it rocked. I honestly have to say that i attend EKU but i was cheering for UK. I bleed blue for now! It was a blow out game, but i had a lot of fun, both bands did an excellent job at half time though! Congrats!!
I can't say I did anything out of the ordinary. I was going to use the long break to paint but it seems like I play 'catch-up' on housework when the weekends come. I did go to my daughters football teams first game, friday night. She is in the Color Gaurd and I watched the team march and the band played. They have worked so hard and it paid off, they looked and sounded great. I was going to go to the EKU/UK game put didn't get my tix in time. Glad you had a good time. I heard it was fun despite the pounding.
I didn't get to go to game because I had to work but I watched it on t.v.. I enjoyed the game even though the Cats blew the Colonels out of the water. It was a great day for football!
This weekend was nice. I went to a horseride and picnic. Then the next day I went to the horsecamp and dinner. I did not go to the game but my boyfriend's son plays for UK. He starts on the offensive line at right tackle.
I am right there with ya Angela. I did laundry and cleaned. I did take the kids to see Rodney Atkins and the fireworks on Saturday in Winchester.
It was a good experience for EKU anyway. UK is for real now and can play with the "big boys" of the SEC in Football. UT, UF, UGA.. etc.
