Language and communication is at the heart of society. Learning how to use language to communicate wants and have needs met can be a complex task for many children. Our course will explore how language develops and the intricate challenges many children face who experience a variety of physical, emotional and cognitive difficulties.

Class
Last nights class was a lot of fun. I had no idea what those words were last night, until we went over them. Now, they are not hard to understand. I will see you all next Monday. Anita Spence
Maybe I should give you extra points for saying class was FUN! Trying to make phonemes and morphemes FUN can be a task. I'll try my best to keep us ENGAGED and ACTIVE participants in the lessons. Hold on to your seats as you all teach the class in two weeks how we PHYSICALLY produce speech!
I didn't know half of those words either. Now knowing what they actually mean makes them ten times easier to understand. And it was a lot of fun in the groups.
I didn't really know what the words were either. I also enjoyed doing the group stuff. It help me to understand what we were talking about a lot more. It made the class a lot of fun.
