I really liked how we got to move around the last class. I like how we divided up in groups it was very creative. In night class it is very beneficial to be able to move around because after a long day everyone is tired. It was also very creative how we divided up in groups. I have never lined up in a circle by birthday months and then counted off in numbers. This gave us a chance to meet new people in the class. I think tit is easier to learn the topics when you get to discuss topics with a large group. It also makes it a very informational class discussion when all the groups tell each small group aloud what they have gathered and discussed.

I agree, moving around the class does make it more of an interesting class time. Usually I am so tired after work that any moving around helps to keep me awake.
I agree it was interesting. At first I was curious in why we were getting in order by b-day... however it made sense!
Several of you noted on your cards that you wanted to work with DIFFERENT groups. I plan to MODEL for you different ways to group students for small group work. At times we'll work in larger groups as we did Monday. At times we'll work in smaller groups of 4 and at times we'll work in pairs. Think about the advantages and disadvantages to each of these group sizes.
