Language and communication is at the heart of society. Learning how to use language to communicate wants and have needs met can be a complex task for many children. Our course will explore how language develops and the intricate challenges many children face who experience a variety of physical, emotional and cognitive difficulties.

Monday night class
Monday nights class was very informative, and the definitions that were given were very clear. I think I may finally understand what the key terms mean. See you guys Monday!!!
I usually don't have such a good time doing group work...it always seems so forced and the other members usually aren't into it either. I like how the group I was in really engaged and enjoyed the activity.

I know if I am involved in a group activity, I am able to understand and keep the information longer. The index cards were fun.
