Thankful for not wasting my time.
I feel like this class is already doing it's job..and I like that alot! I've been in classes in the past where I felt like they were a total waste of my time. I like how I went into Mondays class knowing very little about morphemes, semantics, and pragmatics...but left the class assured that I had learned something. I only hope that it continues!

I agree. I have already learned new words/meanings that are associated in the Special ED field.
I can promise you that you will get OUT of this class as much as YOU put INTO it! As future educators you will begin to shift the responsibility for learning onto yourselves.
I also agree! I really do not like night classes, they always seem too long; with this class time flys by! I believe it is because we are very active in learning the materials rather than just taking notes. I do learn by taking notes but activites are needed to keep my attention, especially when the class is long. I had no clue at the begining of class of what we were even talking about, those were words I have rarely heard. After class I was very confident in what they were and amazed at how much detail is really in communication, I have never looked at it from those points of view!
Mondays class really helped to clear up alot of isssues i had with Morphemes as well. I had a class that covered them breifly a few semesters back,but this one really shed some light on it.
