Language and communication is at the heart of society. Learning how to use language to communicate wants and have needs met can be a complex task for many children. Our course will explore how language develops and the intricate challenges many children face who experience a variety of physical, emotional and cognitive difficulties.

Class on Monday
Hey my name is Alice and i was sick and had a real bad headache Monday and couldn't go to class. I was just wondering if anyone can please tell me what we did in class? Thank you

I missed Mondays class also due to illness. I was hoping someone could tell me what went on. I got an e-mail from Mrs. White she said that I could borrow the DVD they watched and get the discussion powerpoint off of blackboard. Hope this helps I dont know any more than that!
The movie was Through Deaf Eyes and we watched it and wrote down definitions to words Mrs. White gave us. We also discussed how blind and Deaf people need to be acommidated within the class room.
I was running late on Monday, but i finally arrived, and the topic was on Blind and Deaf people and how they should be accomidated into a classroom. We watched a great movie, and then got into groups and discussed the definitions.
