Language and communication is at the heart of society. Learning how to use language to communicate wants and have needs met can be a complex task for many children. Our course will explore how language develops and the intricate challenges many children face who experience a variety of physical, emotional and cognitive difficulties.

Jenna
Monday night I enjoyed class alot. With Jenna coming I thought that she was hilarious and she was very open with all of her answers. I felt that her being there gave an outlook that I hadn't really thought about.
I also enjoyed having Jenna come in Monday night. I appreciated how honest her answers were. I found the discussion very interesting, this just reinforces that this is what I want to do with my life. I want to help students like Jenna.
I thought it was interesting that she still uses the sign language and the talking. When she said that she does take the implant off suprised me, but it is true what she said that some times she just needs the quiet time just liike anyone of us.
