Good Morning America

I was getting ready for work yesterday morning and watching Good Morning America. They had a story on a girl who was just voted off of the Tyra Banks show, America's Next Top Model.
The interesting part about the story was that the girl (who made it into the top 5) had asperger's syndrome.
Good Morning America interviewed her regarding her autistic spectrum disorder and I thought that it was really insightful for people to see how that asperger's affected the model in her social and professional situations.
I can't remember the name of the model, but I'm anxious to see how her career goes and I think it's great to see a person with asperger's syndrome pursuing their ambitions and not being afraid of the spotlight.

That is fascinating. I am interested to know more about how she became involved in the show. If you remember her name will you let us know? or perhaps I will go to the Good Morning America webpage and see if I can watch a clip.
Thanks for this blog entry. My curiousity is high.

I watched America's next top model a lot and I think that her name was Heather. It was very interesting to watch how she interacted with the other girls. She was quiet and stayed out of most of the conversations. She would have days that she would say that she was having a bad day and she would loss her temper on the girls over things such as using the phone to call a family member and it being her turn to get in the shower. In her pictures she got very into doing the modeling but hardly ever smiled.

Kristin is right, her name is Heather. I'm a fan of the show as well. I didn't get to see her on the Good Morning America show though. Thanks for the blog Sarah, I will have to watch it online!

I actually am obsessed with that show Americas Next Top Model. And i absolutely loved that model that had asperger syndrome. It was really amazing that she was in the top 5, because i figured they would have let her go long before that, but i thought it was wonderful and i would like to see how this model pursues her education and her ambititions!
