I am 83% Dixie. But I wish the quiz was extended so that you could put in answers that weren't offered as choices.
I also took the "do you speak American" quiz. When I looked at the answers on the map of which American is perferred, I was suprised to see only one region score above an 8. So no one speaks the perfect sounding "American" in North America. Huh?
HAs anyone noticed that some of the newer ATM machines have an "English" voice. Usually a pleasant woman who sounds as though she and MAry Poppins have High tea every Friday. If I am 83% Dixie then I suppose you won't hear my voice on any ATM in the near future ( according to the pleasant American voice survey).

Well, I was not surprised testing 100% Dixie considering my husband has teased my language since he met me. I was thought proper English in school and if I am thinking about what I am saying before I talk I actually will speak very proper English. He tested 49% Dixie, I wonder how much of that is from being around me. He is originally from Montana and I am originally from Texas, I have not lost my southern dialect from living here in Kentucky were as his Montana dialect no longer exist.
