Language and communication is at the heart of society. Learning how to use language to communicate wants and have needs met can be a complex task for many children. Our course will explore how language develops and the intricate challenges many children face who experience a variety of physical, emotional and cognitive difficulties.

Monday NIght Class
I thoroughly enjoyed Mondays night class. It was really interesting to me to learn about the cochlear implant. I also enjoyed the video and also how much i learned from the video. If you missed Monday, it was an excellent class!
I really enjoyed the visitor on Monday. The information that we learned about the cochlear implant was all really new to me. I had heard of them before but I really didn't have much of an understanding but after class on Monday I feel like I am more aware of the pros and cons that come with getting a cochlear implant.

I would be happy to loan it to anyone who missed class and point out the specific chapters on the DVD that we watched.
