Jenna

I really enjoyed having Jenna in class. It was interesting to hear her perspective. She was funny, and easy to listen to. I was impressed by her language abilities, and her positive outlook on everything. She had a lot of new perspectives to offer us on the implant, especially what she says to people who express negativity about the implant. I'm glad she could come.

I enjoyed having her in class as well! It was neat for her to tell us abut how she felt about the implant rather than somone who does not wear an implant telling about it.

I was not at class on Monday, but I wish I had been. The class must have been fun. Please let me know what I missed out on, because I would like to know.

I agree too. It is always good when you can hear from someone that has had experiences in what you have been discussing. Like for a history class having a member of the armed forces talk to the class about their experiences in the War in Iraq.

Yes I really enjoyed Jenna coming to class. I thought it was really interesting how well she could hear with the implant and how clearly she could talk. I thought she was very funny and I really enjoyed listening to her perspective. I did not realize how much controversy there was over the implants within the deaf community. I really learned a lot from listening to her.

I completly agreee! this was one of the most fun and enjoyable classes that we have had this semester. It was great to hear the positive side of having a cochlear implant from someone who actually had one!
