Language and communication is at the heart of society. Learning how to use language to communicate wants and have needs met can be a complex task for many children. Our course will explore how language develops and the intricate challenges many children face who experience a variety of physical, emotional and cognitive difficulties.

Missed class
I missed class tonight due to the weather and my long commute to class. I was curious if anyone could fill me in on what I missed tonight and if they had any notes from class that I could look at to get caught back up?

I was late arriving to class, but when i made it the topic was on Blind and Deaf people and how they should be accomidated into a classroom. We watched a wonderful movie titled "Through Deaf Eyes", and then wrote definitions for the movie. After the movie we got into groups and discussed the movie and definitions, and then began to talk about blind people.
